I love the great outdoors. If you’re looking for me during the warmer months, it’ll be in the mountains. I also love the feeling of waking up in the morning enjoying a nice cup of coffee out in the wilderness. It’s pure bliss. This is my simple, yet delicious recipe I use every time I’m out and about. The AeroPress is the best brewer to use when camping or traveling in general. So get outside and enjoy!

Ingredients

18 grams coffee (ground on a medium setting)
270 grams water, 203°F (95°C), or else boil water, then allow to sit for about 15 seconds

Directions

Grind your coffee on a medium setting.
Add paper filter to cap and add coffee to AeroPress. I like to use the Flow Control Filter Cap to avoid a mess.
Bring water to temperature of 203 degrees Fahrenheit (if no thermometer/temp control available, boil water, then allow to sit for about 15 seconds)
Add 40 grams of water to AeroPress and allow coffee to bloom for 30 seconds. If not using a scale, simply saturate the grounds with water.
Add remaining water to total 270 grams, or if no scale, fill to the #4 line on the AeroPress.
Stir 5 times to agitate the coffee grounds.
Allow to brew for 60 seconds, plunge slowly into cup and enjoy!
