Vietnamese coffee is traditionally made with a Phin. However, this modern take using the AeroPress is equally as good! This bold robust coffee packs a punch but then has a nice sweetness thanks to the condensed milk. Personally, I enjoy it iced, but you can also drink it hot as well! Enjoy.
Ingredients
- 20 grams robusta coffee (ground on medium setting)
-
150 grams water (heated to 203°F / 95°C)
-
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk (more or less to taste)
-
Ice, to taste
-
Milk, to taste
Directions
To a glass (wide enough to hold AeroPress chamber) add sweetened condensed milk.
Using the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap, add 2 paper filters and attach to AeroPress chamber.
Add ground coffee to bottom of AeroPress chamber, then add heated water.
- Stir 10 times, then allow coffee to brew for 90 seconds.
Insert plunger and press coffee into cup of condensed milk.
- Add ice and top off with milk if desired.
- Enjoy!
