This espresso tonic is refreshing yet energizing and is the perfect springtime drink! Best enjoyed with lime, however, choose any citrus you’d like such as lemon or even orange. Light, refreshing, and delicious.

Ingredients

18 grams finely ground coffee
54 grams water, heated to 203°F (95°C)
10-12 ounces tonic water
Ice
1 lime (optional)

Directions

Using the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap, add 2 paper filters and attach to AeroPress chamber.
Add coffee, and then add hot water.
Stir 10 times then allow to brew for 45 seconds.
Plunge into glass or carafe.
To a separate glass, add ice and tonic water, leaving enough room for the coffee.
Using the back of a spoon, float the coffee on top of the tonic water by slowly pouring coffee on the back of the spoon into the glass.
Squeeze a wedge of the lime into the glass, garnish with slice of lime.
Stir, and enjoy!
