This adaptation of the 2021 World AeroPress Championship winning recipe from Tuomas Merikanto of Finland makes use of the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap. Tuomas says, "I usually prefer inverted style but this time I went with standard style instead. As with the Flow Control Filter Cap you can get the full immersion and it doesn't drip at all! To my surprise, it was even easy to push through."
Directions
Set up the AeroPress coffee maker with the AeroPress Flow Control Filter Cap, using two AeroPress paper micro-filters.
Add the ground coffee.
Start the timer and add 200g water.
Gently stir 3 times.
Let it brew for 1 minute and 30 seconds.
Gently stir 3 more times.
Put the plunger on.
At 1 minute 40 seconds, start to push till 2 minutes.
