Try brewing the cup of coffee that won the 2025 World AeroPress Championship!
Ingredients
-
18g coffee, ground on the @comandantegrinder Trailmaster x25 with Tigershark Burrs, 31 clicks, sifted at 200um
-
170g of 125ppm water made with @apaxlab prototype, 84°C / 183°F (bypass water at 50°C / 122°F)
Directions
Insert 2 AeroPress Paper Micro-Filters into an AeroPress Flow Control Cap and screw the Flow Control Cap onto the AeroPress chamber.
Pour 70g of bypass water into carafe.
Grind coffee (slow rpm), blow chaff and sift fines out.
Place the AeroPress on top of the carafe, pour ground coffee (sifted and with the chaff blown out) into the brewing chamber.
Pour 100g of brewing water in the AeroPress, wet all the coffee grounds.
At 25s, stir NSNS-WEWE.
At 50s, start gently pressing on the AeroPress, for about 20s.
Serve.
