Our iconic coffee press, made with the same patented technology, now available in handmade double wall borosilicate glass, stainless steel and anodized aluminum.  A stunning statement piece that instantly elevates your kitchen’s coffee bar and station.

3-in-1 brew technology combines the best of several brew methods into one elegant and easy to use device. No more average joe from fancy, expensive machines. Smooth, rich, grit-free coffee with a delicious, full-bodied finish that lingers well after your last sip.

The AeroPress Premium features meticulously crafted components, including a stainless steel filter cap, scoop and stirrer, all designed with both performance and aesthetics in mind.

The world's best kept coffee secret – 55K+ five star reviews in over 60 countries.

AeroPress uses a patented 3 in 1 brew technology that combines the flavor benefits of espresso, pour-over and french press into one compact device. You get a completely unique and delicious cup of coffee, only possible with an AeroPress.

First, water is poured over the coffee, wetting and aerating the grinds, creating the signature AeroPress smoothness. Then, during the immersion process, water penetrates the coffee grinds for deeper flavor notes and a full bodied finish often found in a French Press. Finally, the magic happens - air pressure quickly pushes the brew through the coffee bed and filter, removing grit and bitter tasting oils for an espresso-like richness.

The AeroPress Brew

The AeroPress Brew

  1. Heat water to 185°F (85°C) using your kettle. If you don’t have a temperature control kettle, use boiling water.
  2. Pull Plunger to separate entirely from Chamber.
  3. Insert Paper Filter into Filter Cap and twist Filter Cap onto Chamber.
  4. Stand Chamber on sturdy mug and add 1 heaping Scoop or 16-18 grams store-bought, medium ground coffee.
  5. Shake gently to level coffee. Pour water up to the 4 marked on side of Chamber. You will hear some coffee drip through into the mug. This is a normal part of the process.
  6. Stir gently for about 3 seconds. Then quickly insert Plunger about ½ inch into Chamber to create a vacuum to stop drip through. Wait 60 seconds.
  7. Press down on the Plunger, applying gentle constant pressure (do not push too hard). Press until you hear the hissing sound begin and end, an indication the last bit of brew has passed through the coffee bed and your coffee is ready.
  8. FILTER CAP IS HOT. Run Filter Cap under cool water for a few seconds before removing, or use cloth to remove. Position coffee press over sink or garbage bin and push Plunger the rest of the way through Chamber until you hear the pop as the coffee bed “puck” pops out.
  9. Discard Paper Filter and rinse Filter Cap and coffee press. Clean with lukewarm water, gentle soap, and a gentle cloth every week to preserve the life of your AeroPress Premium.
  10. Enjoy the uniquely smooth, rich, full-bodied flavor of an AeroPress 3 in 1 Brew.

You should use a sturdy mug or carafe and should never press into a thin walled glass mug or carafe.

Filter Cap will get hot after brewing. Run under cool water for a few seconds before removing, or use cloth to remove.

Inverted method:

Some people brew with their AeroPress coffee maker upside down, which has been referred to as the “inverted method”. We strongly discourage using this method as it can cause the coffee maker to be less stable and prone to mishaps that expose the user to potential burns from hot liquid.

Is the AeroPress Premium dishwasher-safe?

Due to its handmade nature, the AeroPress Premium is hand-wash only. Please do not place the AeroPress Premium in the dishwasher.

Is the Premium fragile?

While the Premium is made of glass and metal, it is built to perform like our other coffee makers.

Does the glass chamber get hot?

What materials go into making the AeroPress Premium?

What is the capacity of the AeroPress Premium?

What size filters work with the AeroPress Premium?

AeroPress Premium is compatible with Standard size AeroPress filters.

Yes, it makes cold brew.

What accessories does it come with?

It comes with a scoop, a stirrer, and paper filters.

Is the AeroPress Premium easy to use?

Yes. Just grind your coffee, heat some water, stir and press!

I heard you can make all kinds of coffee with AeroPress. What’s the easiest way to start?

You can make hundreds of recipes with an AeroPress Premium, but here’s an easy place to start! Put in 1 heaping scoop of medium-fine grind coffee, fill the chamber to the (4) with boiling water (or 185 degrees if you have a kettle), stir for 10 seconds, then press and enjoy. For more, check out our How to Use page!

The paper filter sticks to the filter cap. How do I remove it?

Gently brush the end of the stirrer across the paper filter in the cap. This makes the paper curl up for easy removal.
