My relationship with coffee began as something simple: a daily ritual that slowly turned into a passion, and eventually, a profession. What fascinated me most wasn’t just what was in the cup, but the stories, the craft, and the people connected to it. Coffee became a lens through which I experienced culture, travel, and community.
I started out working in B2B sales for a roaster in Paris, but I quickly realized I wanted to be closer to the craft itself. Behind the bar, brewing for people, I found the joy of creating connections one cup at a time. From managing a café to recreating the coffee shop experience at events, my role kept evolving—but my curiosity never stopped growing.
A defining moment for me was traveling to Colombia, meeting producers, and realizing how much dedication begins at the farm long before coffee reaches us. Around that same time, I stepped into competitions—Cup Tasters and later Coffee in Good Spirits—where I could test my skills and creativity by blending coffee with another world I love: cocktails.
Today, as a trainer at Polygone Formations, I guide new baristas as they find their own spark. And whenever I set out to explore new coffee shops, I’m rarely alone—my French Bulldog, Putsch, is usually by my side. Along with my AeroPress, he’s become part of my ritual: a reminder that great coffee is not just about technique, but about sharing the journey, wherever it may lead.
Honestly, this grinder feels like it was made for me. It’s compact enough to fit inside my AeroPress, super easy to throw in a backpack, and the grind quality is spot on. I use it everywhere—skating through the city, heading out into nature, or just teaching my students during training sessions. When they discover AeroPress and other filter methods, this grinder becomes the perfect partner for their first extractions. I recommend it all the time—it just makes great coffee simple, anywhere.
