I've had a camera for as long as I can remember.  As a child, I carried around a little film camera, constantly photographing nature and trying to see the world in new ways.  That early spark of creativity grew into an even bigger passion for capturing the outdoors all over the world, and eventually brought me from the Midwest to the Pacific Northwest.

After years of balancing my photography side job with my full-time career in healthcare, I recently made the jump to pursuing my photography and content creation more.  Today, I work with outdoor and adventure brands to tell their stories in a way that feels more authentic and grounded in real experiences.  My work often centers around the raw nature and quiet moments that people get to experience when they step outside, with muddy boots, unpredictable weather, and quiet moments on a mountain top.

I'm happiest outdoors -- with hiking, camping, and exploring the wilderness with my wife and three young children, and of course drinking a lot of coffee in fun places.  We're working on making a mini-homestead to be a little more connected to nature and learn how to use what it provides.

Coffee has always been part of my adventures—whether I’m brewing at home or drinking coffee on a mountain at sunrise, which I find myself doing quite a bit. The AeroPress Manual Grinder and AeroPress brewer fit perfectly into my bag or on my counter. It’s incredibly easy to use, and the adjustable grind settings make it simple to dial in the perfect cup, no matter where I am. Bringing it along means I can carry on with my daily coffee ritual wherever I am.
