I grew up in a culture where the morning coffee fills up spaces with its aroma that feels like a hug. Coffee has always been an excuse as a way of bringing people together. Yet, despite growing up surrounded by this tradition, I never drank coffee or explored it beyond those familiar rituals. That changed when I moved to Panama six years ago. A single sip of Geisha completely transformed my perspective: it wasn’t just a drink, but an experience layered with flavor, aroma, and connection. That moment became the spark that led me into the sensory world of coffee.

Professionally, my path began on the marketing and sales side, where I had the privilege of positioning some of Panama’s most celebrated specialty coffees across North America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania. Traveling to represent Lerida Coffee Estate and tell their story gave me a unique perspective: coffee is never just a beverage—it’s a bridge between people, cultures, and values.

Over the past five years, I’ve immersed myself fully in the specialty coffee world, training in barista skills, sensory analysis, and fermentation with industry leaders. I’ve served as a pre-judge at Best of Panama, filtered hundreds of coffees for international audiences, and competed in Panama’s National Brewers Cup. Today, I focus on sharing this craft through education, offering guided tastings, workshops, and sensory experiences designed to help people connect with coffee on a deeper level.

Beyond the technical side, what drives me is simple: helping others discover the beauty, nuance, and humanity behind every cup. Coffee has given me a global community, countless friendships, and an endless sense of wonder—and it’s that same spirit I hope to pass along in everything I do.

As soon as I unpacked the grinder, I was struck by its elegant metallic design—robust yet lightweight, perfect for travel or daily brewing. I love how the screw-in catch cup adds stability (avoiding magnetic slips) and how the handle fits neatly into the body for easy packing. The grind precision impressed me; I followed the chart for my AeroPress, and the result was spot on—balanced, flavorful, and clean. A refined, functional piece that elevates my coffee ritual anywhere I go.
