Hi! We are Isabel and Sentry, an adventure-loving couple who live in the most beautiful place in the world- South Lake Tahoe, CA. We spend all of our free time in the mountains- hiking, rock climbing, camping, mountain biking, backpacking, snowboarding, and/or mountaineering. If adventure is involved, we're there! We like to describe ourselves as “do-ers of all, experts of none” because we LOVE trying new things, but do not consider ourselves an experts at any of them. For us, it’s less about mastering every sport and more about living fully, embracing the outdoors, and sharing that passion with others.
Together, we created Operation Adventure as our way of sharing everything we’ve learned, from gear tips and adventure trips to the not-so-glamorous parts of outdoor life. But at the heart of it all, we’re just two people who love outdoor adventure, good coffee, and community.
Our goal has and will always be to inspire others to seek adventure, big or small, to care for the landscapes we’re lucky enough to explore, and to remind everyone that you don’t have to be an expert to live a life full of adventure!
We’ve tested a lot of coffee gear on the road, and the AeroPress Manual Grinder has earned a permanent spot in our coffee setup! It’s compact enough to toss in with our camping gear, but still gives us that precise and consistent grind we want every morning, whether we’re making coffee on the trail or at home.
