My journey with coffee started at home in Puerto Rico, where sharing a cup was always more than just a drink; it was a moment of connection. What began as simple curiosity grew into a passion for understanding every detail of the craft, from grind size and brew methods to the science behind flavor.
When I moved to the U.S., I noticed a gap: so many coffee resources were in English, but very few were accessible to the Spanish-speaking community. That sparked the idea for Café by Chris, where I create approachable content to help anyone brew better coffee at home.
Over time, my passion turned into a platform. I’ve collaborated with brands I admire, created bilingual tutorials, and built a community of coffee enthusiasts eager to learn, experiment, and connect. Beyond creating content, I’ve stepped into roasting coffee at home, exploring how green coffee transforms into the flavors we all love.
But my story isn’t just about coffee, it’s also about family. I live in the U.S. with my wife, our playful dog, and we’re expecting our first daughter this fall. That balance of family, creativity, and community keeps me grounded while inspiring me to keep learning and sharing. My goal is simple: to show that with curiosity and understanding the basics, anyone can enjoy café-quality coffee at home without needing to spend thousands on equipment.
I’ve used a lot of hand grinders over the years, but what makes the AeroPress Manual Grinder stand out is how compact and precise it feels. It’s the kind of tool that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the process. For me, it’s perfect for travel, it slips right into my bag with my AeroPress, and even fits inside it. Wherever I go, I know I’ll get a consistent grind. If you love making coffee on the go, this is the most compact and travel-friendly grinder you’ll find.
