Today, we're diving deep into the realms of instant gratification without sacrificing a drop of flavor. This is the 2-Minute "Express" Cold Brew using our beloved  AeroPress. Cold brew, on the fast track.

The Need for Speed: 2-Minute "Express" Cold Brew

Sometimes you may find yourself craving the deep, smooth taste of cold brew without the luxury of time. Whether you overslept, are running late for a meeting, or just need that quick cool-down after a spontaneous midsummer jog, this is the perfect hack. Let's get into it.

What You'll Need:

● An AeroPress: I use the Clear!
Flow Control Filter Cap: My fave AeroPress accessory - hands down.
● Coffee: 30 grams of your best beans
● Grinder: We're going fine - like, really fine. We need all the surface area we can get.
● Ice: The essence of chill.
● Cold Water: It's not called "warm brew."
● A Tall Glass or Jar: Your vessel for this voyage into velvety goodness.
● Scale: Precision is our middle name.
● Timer: We’re measuring this recipe in minutes, not hours.

The Fast and the Flavorous: Brewing Your "Express" Cold Brew

Grind Your Beans: Take those 30 grams of coffee and grind them to a powdery fine consistency. We're aiming for maximum extraction in minimum time.

Prep Your AeroPress: Assemble your AeroPress with the Flow Control Filter Cap and filter. This eliminates any mess or premature drip through.

Ice, Ice, Baby: Fill your tall glass or jar halfway with ice. This is the finish line where our coffee will cool its heels after a speedy brew.

Water Works: Measure out about 100 grams of cold water. It's not just a beverage; it's our racing fuel.

The Brew-ening: Pour your finely ground coffee into the AeroPress. Start your stopwatch and pour in the cold water quickly, stirring vigorously for 2 minutes to ensure every ground is in the game.

Press to Impress: At the 2-minute mark, put your AeroPress onto the glass filled with ice and press. The room temperature brew combined with cold ice keeps those flavors locked in.

The Final Touch: Give your newly born "Express" Cold Brew a gentle stir. If it's too strong, don't fret; a splash of cold water or a dash of milk will smooth out the edges.
